Protests erupt outside Kasba Police station as 3 arrested in alleged Kolkata college gang rape
A 47-year-old woman identified as Ghazala Siddique was detained by Mumbai’s Khar police on Monday evening for trespassing at the residence of Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur. The incident occurred while the actor was away, and this is reportedly not her first such attempt.
Siddique allegedly convinced Kapur’s domestic help to let her in by claiming she had come from Dubai to meet the actor and had brought gifts for him. The staff allowed her inside the premises in his absence. When Kapur returned and was informed of the woman’s entry, he immediately alerted the society officials, who then called the police.
She was booked under sections related to house trespass and housebreaking. Police later revealed that Siddique had tried to gain entry into Salman Khan’s residence just a week earlier, and was similarly detained by Bandra police at that time.
Authorities are now investigating Siddique’s background and motives. While she claims to be from Dubai, officials are trying to determine the truth behind her statements and repeated attempts to approach Bollywood celebrities.
Meanwhile, Aditya Roy Kapur is currently gearing up for the release of his next film Metro In Dino, directed by Anurag Basu, which is set to hit theatres on July 4.
